The Saint Anne Baptism process welcomes the parents of children to be baptized and assist them in understanding the Catholic theology of the sacrament, its specifics, and the responsibilities of parents in choosing this sacrament for their children.  The preparation requirements vary.

• Two Baptism sessions are required for parents baptizing their 1^st child.
• One or two sessions (depending on the situation) are required for parents baptizing their 2^nd, 3^rd, etc. child when they have had their first child baptized at another Catholic Church.
• Parents who have already attended Baptism preparation at Saint Anne will be asked to speak to a Staff member before scheduling a Baptism.

The initial contact with the parents helps determine what type of preparation would be specifically offered for individual families.

For children who were not baptized as infants, parents are invited to contact our Faith Formation office who will assist you in welcoming and preparing your child for the sacrament of baptism. Please contact our Parish Office at 847-382-5300 to schedule an appointment.

The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a process that welcomes adults into the Christian Catholic community.  RCIA welcomes adults who have never been baptized, have been baptized in another faith tradition, and those baptized Catholic who have not received the Sacraments of Eucharist or Confirmation. There is an open invitation to all interested persons to join the process at any time throughout the year.
